I have long told clients that blogging is a vital cornerstone of online marketing, and that trying to get any traction in the search engines and social media without regularly creating and pushing fresh new content is like trying to get out of quicksand by flailing around. As the saying goes, though, ‘the cobbler’s children has no shoes’. Or, in our case, Genare had no blog. Being a startup branding, web development and marketing firm, we quickly found ourselves working overtime to build a business infrastructure that could handle the growing number of clients we were seeing come through our doors. Word-of-mouth was doing its job, and we were doing ours.
Fast forward to today and we are experiencing repeat customers coming through our doors on a regular basis, we’re seeing new referrals come in weekly, and we’re beginning to operate more fully on all cylinders. Because blogging is important, we are now putting a concerted effort into this medium. We’re very excited about what’s to come. We will be covering topics that will benefit you, the business owner, the pastor, the musician, the guy who runs the marketing department for that business down the street. Anybody who is searching for meaningful ways to share their story online is welcome.
Here’s to the future!
